About

About

Carly Mandel (1992) is a New York-based interdisciplinary artist whose sculptures explore hypercapitalism and health. Informed by her experience of chronic illness, Mandel integrates abstracted real-world objects and imagined prototypes into her sculptures. She fuses traditional craft methodologies, such as metals, glass, ceramic, etc, with industrially produced elements to explore dichotomies of natural and man-made.
